When files are too large to transfer over regular Windows Explorer FTP or if a more intuitive interface is desired, many clients choose to use FileZilla. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to install and use FileZilla.

Contents:
Part 1: Download and Install
Part 2: Access Files
Part 3: Send Files
Part 4: Receive Files

Part 1: Download and Install

STEP 1: Navigate to filezilla-project.org and select Download from the left pane:

STEP 3: Click on the FileZilla Download prompt at the bottom of your web browser or optionally double click on the downloaded file if you SAVED it to a folder. It should look something like this:

STEP 4: If the Windows Security window comes up, click Run (or whatever you need to click on) to allow it to get to this page:

Click on the “I Agree” box.

STEP 5:  IF YOU SEE THIS SCREEN - Choose No, don’t protect me, and then Next to continue:

If you DON’T see that screen then proceed to STEP 6. If you see something ELSE, make sure you skip all advertisements, or ‘other options or software to install’. These typically do not have anything to do with FileZilla but get added into the install in hopes that you do install them. These are all unnecessary things we don’t want.

STEP 6: Read the terms and click I Agree to accept:

STEP 7: Choose the ‘Anyone...’ option and hit Next:

STEP 8: Choose options (or leave default) and hit Next:
